Qualification as on 1st January,2013 : Graduation from a recognized University
i) Compiler : Bachelor?s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor?s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects OR Bachelor?s Degree with Mathematics( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects OR Bachelor?s Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjectsOR Bachelor?s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjectsNote-: “Statistics” means any branch of Statistics, applied or otherwise.
iii) All other Posts: Bachelor?s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Note : Candidate should note that the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate available on the date of submission of application will only be accepted by the Commission for determining the age and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted
Fee : Rs 100,Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government orders.
Mode of Selection : After the Written Examination and the Interview /Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test/Document verification.ll candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for appearing at the Interview/Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test will be required to produce the relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets for all the three years of Graduation/ Provisional Certificate/ Certificate of Graduation in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the 1st January,2013, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission
How to apply :
On-line application facility will be available from 19.01.2013 to 13.02.2013 (5:00PM) for Part –I Registration and upto 15.02.2013 (5:00 PM) for Part – II Registration. Applications should be addressed to the Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission
